Documentary on Ada Falcón at the Carlos Gardel Museum

The Carlos Gardel Museum will screen the documentary "Yo no sé qué me han hecho tus ojos" (2003) about the life of Ada Falcón on Saturday, March 26 at 6 pm.

After the screening there will be an open discussion with one of the directors of the documentary, Lorena Muñoz, together with the director of the play "La Falcón" Cintia Miraglia and the curator of the exhibition "Pioneras Del Tango" Marina Cañardo.

The documentary directed by Muñoz and Wolf deals with the enigmatic life of the singer Ada Falcón, one of the great legends in the history of tango. Ada Falcón retired very prematurely, in 1942, becoming a Franciscan nun and taking an oath not to give interviews, not to be photographed, not to sing again until today, when she breaks her silence. She lets herself be seen and tells her story after seventy years.
