Tango and Soccer

I receive this video and I burst into tears. Yes, I burst into tears because I am overwhelmed with emotion. Who would have thought that 10 years later this video would take on a new meaning.
Ten years and one day ago two dancers were enjoying tango steps in San Telmo. Ten years ago neighbors could come down from their houses, warn others inside the building, go out, make a round around the artists and enjoy their dance. It was all round. The audience, the public could applaud them, look at their happy faces after the dance and celebrate the encounter.
Ten years and one day ago we had no idea what we were about to go through as humanity.
Ten years and one day ago dancing, touching, playing with a ball, walking, turning the corner, touching another, opening windows were something we took for granted. Today May 20, 2020 touching another - a stranger or someone close - is a privilege or a danger, depending on how it is perceived. Touching, dancing, playing are vital actions that are felt as something that hurts because they remain in longing or oblivion.
And it's good that we can't play, dance, play like 10 years ago, I understand the reasons but the body... the body misses the embrace, the game, the freedom of other times.
