The Subway joined the Tango BA Festival and the 2021 Tango World Cup

Users were able to enjoy a show at Corrientes station on Line H. The 2021 edition started on September 16 and runs until September 26 at different points of the City of Buenos Aires.

Once again, the Subway and tango merged yesterday afternoon, Wednesday 22nd, and all passengers who were traveling through the Corrientes station of Line H were able to enjoy a show to the rhythm of the 2×4.

In the hall of the station, teachers and dancers Elina Conte and Cristian Cisneros walked the dance floor honoring the genre in the Abasto neighborhood accompanied by the voice of singer Ricardo Marín.

In this way, the artists surprised subway users and transformed the way back home. In an unmissable encounter, the artists offered a unique experience in the most emblematic means of transportation of the city.

Line H was declared "Underground Tango Cultural Tourist Walkway" under Law No. 1024, with the purpose of allowing tourists to visit the stations dedicated to the great artists of the genre, who are honored with murals along the route.
