Urchasdonía 2021
This 5th edition of the Independent Tango Festival of Urchasdonía "brings the joy of meeting and sharing", says Marcelo Lavergatta, one of the organizers of the event. This year the festival generated a schedule of activities that displays the art and culture of its neighborhoods: book and mural presentations, a solidarity soccer match and the enhancement of the neighborhood square, a tango procession and a Sunday pic nic sprinkled with music and dance. Monday's closing is done with class and milonga. In two words, im perdible!
Urchasdonía unites four Buenos Aires neighborhoods - Urquiza, Parque Chas, Pueyrredón and Agronomía - in a single heart.

Friday, November 19
11 a.m. Tango procession through the Urchasdonía murals. Posta 1 / Monroe and Burela.
11.30 a.m. Tango procession. Posta 2 / Constituyentes and Mosconi.
12 noon Tango Procession. Posta 3 / Constituyentes and Los Incas.
12.30 p.m. Presentation of the Mural by Romina Mazzone.
Opening: Cucuza Castiello sings with Nicolás Trono. Dancers: Marcelo Lavergata and Lucila Bardach. Music by Mariano Romero TDJ at Moscú and Estocolmo, Plaza Jamaica, Parque Chas. Free activity.
6 pm. Remembering Carlos Lazzari, bandoneon player of the Juan D'arienzo Orchestra and neighbor of Urchasdonía. Live performance by Facundo Lazzari. Dance round of Marcelo and Lucila's students at Obispo San Alberto and Bolivia, Paseo del Centenario, Estación Ferrocarril, Villa Pueyrredón. Free activity.
8 pm. Solidarity match and show in homage to Diego Maradona. Tango artists and soccer players will play: Fernando Batista, Daniel López Maradona, Tute, Chino Laborde, Cucuza among others. For the benefit of the NGO Presente Escuela Rurales. Closing with live music, "le cantamos al Diego", Lucio Arce and Cucuza!
